If you want more information on the fall festival or if you would like to volunteer to help with the fall festival, please click on the link that will be at the bottom of the page. What kind of activities will there be at the festival? There will be face painting, pumpkin patch and painting pumpkins, and a cake walk. But thats not all! You can count on great booths, which include baked goods, pizza, water, snow cones, popcorn, capri suns, juice boxes, nachos, and iced coffee. So we know that you can depend on a good Fall Festival this coming October!
MMM...Me Want Cookie
We know everybody is ready for the DMCS annual cookie dough fundraiser! It starts on September 4th so get ready, and it is due on September 18th. The cookie dough sales are going to be off the charts! Get ready for new flavors and awesome classics.
The cookie dough fundraiser is a highlight of the year. Lots of students love to do this fundraiser and it is all thanks to Jessica Hansen the leader of this fundraiser. To save the earth it would mean something to the school if you brought your own reusable tote bag. Don’t forget to pick up your cookie dough when it gets here.
If you don't know what to decide on you can get a variety pack. If you are not big on cookies you can always get their coffee cake. If you are new to the fundraiser I would recommend you start off small like 2 or 3 boxes and sell to close family. If you don’t know what to get I would recommend 1 mix box, 2 regular boxes and, 1 coffee cake. If you dont want to get cookies you could always buy coffee cake for your boss to get a raise. Have fun with the fundraiser!

Free Dress Friday
The Rules
Hello DMCS Student and Parents! The school has been handing out Parent passports. The way they work is that if the parents work 20 volunteer hours and sign the Parent Passport, then on Fridays their child can wear free dress. Once the Passport has been signed by either teacher or parent, then the child turns it into the front office or to their homeroom teacher. After the Passport has been turned in, the child will receive stickers that say “Free Dress Friday” on them. The child MUST wear these stickers when they are wearing free dress on Friday. Other than those rules, your child will be set for Free Dress Friday!

Hello! We are Mona Lisaand Mother Nature and we are here to give advice! Since this is the first newsletter, we don’t have any! So send your problems here: under the subject “advice”. If you feel uncomfortable, don’t worry! Everything shall be anonymous,(that means no one will know it is you!) We also have a few rules. For starters, to help us save time, don’t say names; use alternatives such as “my best friend” or “this boy in my class.” Also, ask us about real problems; we’re not gonna give you tips on how to get a pokemon to level 100 or we’re not gonna give you tips on how to get free money on a game etc. Those are our advice column rules, cya! ~Mona Lisa and Mother Nature
